The offset Carven

New darling of Paris, William Henry reached in less than a year to restore the prestige of the house by offering Carven held mid-bourgeois, middle-child playful women's rangy. Yes but now, as inspired as it is, the young designer did not issue this season unless one of the most crippling shoesesque opus ...

Acclaimed by both the buyer Maria Luisa by actresses Anne Hathaway and Blake Lively, the brand Carven does not know the crisis. It must be said that between sexiness, vintage look and couture lines, the creations of William Henry are enough to capsize the heart of any lover of fashion. A fact which does not apply to moccasins shoes for the girl Carven winter 2012 ...

By joining shoemaker Robert Clergerie, Henry fails to give us indeed a poor substitute for "it" shoe trendy, cruelly reminding orthopedic shoes. Where usually the retro references are slight and subtle reminders trends, this is a product that no desirability is given us to see: however laudable the original idea (try to twister DNA preppy loafers), the result turns out well for both solid and devoid of any simplistic fashion appeal.

Yes but now, before the wide promotion that benefited these shoes (see the many articles / press releases trying to put the very unsightly "Ursula" for the latest must-have), we are told that many fans of the claw to adopt them. Net-a-Porter, both of the models - we would see in a shop window Mephisto - are already out of stock (see here and here) ...

This winter, the fashionistas have yet to show any interest of a little common sense sulking in the collaborative effort Carven / Robert Clergerie in favor of still addictive ready-to-wear of the claw ...
